Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week

So previously I have had no admiration, lust or desire for Louis Vuitton - I've never understood the hype especially surrounding those monogrammed bags! However, I've just viewed the S/S 11/12 Paris Fashion Week show and my goodness (as I tweeted to Marc Jacobs) it was simply spendid! I am definitely a convert after that show - the colours, the lacy/laser cut flower patterns and the feminine structure of the clothes was all wonderful. Even the bags I deem wearable ;)

Oh! and to top it all off Kate Moss finished the show wearing white just like a blushing bride..

Here are some pictures of the collection:

Leopard Print

This French website that I discovered through a listing on lookbook, sells some to-die-for shoes!

Leopard Print is so classic and can be elegant in a Mrs Robinson fashion
(as opposed to Nicki Minaj doing leopard print).

Grey Crew-neck Sweater:
The sweater comes in 4 different colours.

Black Cropped-Trousers:

The ankle grazing length is perfect for showing off boyish brogues.

Leopard Print Loafers:

Also on the Net-A-Porter site they had this link to animal print related items
- clearly a winter accessory staple.

Incredulous Invention

Joanna Montgomery, 23, graduated from the University of Dundee last year with a BA in Digital Interaction Design  and has recently launched a creative gizmo designed to connect long distance lovers; Pillow Talk.

The way it works is that each person has a ring sensor they wear to bed at night, and a flat fabric panel which slots inside their pillowcase. The ring wirelessly communicates with the other person's pillow; when one person goes to bed, their lover's pillow begins to glow softly to indicate their presence. Placing your head on the pillow allows you to hear the real-time heartbeat of your loved one. The result is an intimate interaction between two lovers, regardless of the distance between them.

So gonna try this out :}

The Carrie Diaries Actress Choices Are Awful!

So as you may know the Carrie Diaries is the prequel to Sex and the City and is now being made into a movie. I love Sex and the City and adored reading The Carrie Diaries but I hope the rumoured actresses stay just that - rumoured.
Apparently set to play Carrie is Elizabeth Olsen (younger sibling of Mary-Kate and Ashley), Charlotte is Selena Gomez (Disney actress and girlfriend of Justin Bieber), Miranda is Emma Roberts (niece of Julia) and Samantha is Blake Lively (Gossip Girls's Serena van der Woodsen). Firstly, Carrie is supposed to be short - Elizabeth towers over her sisters (not hard I know), secondly Charlotte, i'm pretty sure, is white and Selena, i'm pretty sure is Latina/Mexican or something (see Gomez), thirdly Miranda is feminist and ginger(!) while Emma  is girly and blonde and short, lastly I guess I just think Blake is too Cali-Girl for Samantha - a sex goddess.
So this is what I think, I have nothing against these girls or not sticking to the books detail for detail but still, they have become such a legacy and the actresses at the forefront are so associated with their characters that you have to get people who bare strong resemblances to the descriptions of their characters!

Here is my selection:

Carrie - Saoirse Ronan
Charlotte - Emmy Rossum
Miranda - Alicia Witt
Samantha - Emily Deschanel

Saoirse with mousey brown curled hair, Emmy with black hair, Alicia with short red hair, Emily with longer blond hair.
